As BYD began growing rapidly across Australia, more owners were looking for ways to personalise, protect and improve their vehicles. However, finding the right accessories was often more difficult than it should have been. Many products were being sold through overseas marketplaces with limited information, unclear compatibility and little to no support for Australian-delivered BYD models. For owners, this often meant spending time comparing listings, checking measurements, contacting overseas sellers and still being unsure whether a product would properly fit their vehicle.

That is where BYD Mods came in.

Since 2024, we have focused on building a dedicated Australian destination for BYD accessories, with a range focused specifically around the vehicles sold in the Australian market. Rather than trying to stock accessories for every car brand, our focus is BYD. This allows us to better understand the vehicles, the accessories owners are looking for and the differences that can affect compatibility between models and markets.

Our goal is to take the uncertainty out of shopping for BYD accessories. We carefully select products based on their suitability for Australian-delivered vehicles and aim to provide clear product information so customers can shop with greater confidence. Whether it is an interior accessory, exterior upgrade, protection product or everyday convenience item, we want customers to know exactly what they are purchasing and which vehicle it is designed for.

Being Australian-based also means our customers have access to local support before and after their purchase. If you are unsure whether a product suits your vehicle, need help choosing between different options or have a question about an order, our team is here to assist. We believe customer service should be simple, accessible and reliable, particularly when compared with the uncertainty that can come with purchasing from unknown overseas sellers.

As the BYD range continues to expand in Australia, BYD Mods continues to grow alongside it. We are constantly adding new products, reviewing new accessories and expanding our range to support more vehicles and more owners across the country.

From the BYD Seal and Dolphin to the ATTO range, Sealion range, Shark and future BYD models, our aim is to provide one trusted place where Australian owners can find accessories specifically suited to their vehicles.

For us, BYD Mods is not just about selling accessories. It is about helping owners make their vehicles feel more personal, more practical and better suited to the way they use them every day.

Our goal remains simple: make personalising your BYD easier, more reliable and more convenient for Australian owners.
